Every month, one app
I know, I know, there have been people that already done the one app a day or an app a week. Well, I'm doing one app a month! Will I stick with it? I don't know, but I have been already producing some apps already on an almost-monthly basis. Sadly, I don't feel like they get enough attention or usage for me to continuing to develop them.
Another issue with my apps are that they make zero money. I have never implemented a payment system and it should be fairly easy these days but I'm not even sure if what I build is worthy of purchasing.
Anyway, each month, I'll make an app; hopefully it's sexy and interesting such that other people share it. The goal is:
- Publish app or game
- Write a blog post about it
- Create a video about it on what I learned
- Improve
As a parent of 3 kids, an app a month is fairly ambitious, but I'll give it a shot. There have been months where I publish nothing, but with this goal, I'll hope to come out with something.
Things I need to work on:
- Marketing. There are lots of other platforms I can post and share my apps.
- Posting more videos (two so far)
Here are the things I've built so far. Not quite impressive, but hey, I'm starting small.
